EXPERIENCE the NEGEV

Come spend a few days with us and discover the Negev.
What was once a flourishing region is now a desert, but one that is facing a new future as it realises its potential. Meet its fascinating geology, its history and its people.

About myself

Prof. Jon Anson, Sociologist, Demographer, Tour Guide.

I came to Israel from England in 1969 and have lived 50 years in the Negev. I taught in the Dept. of Social Work, Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, from 1985 to my retirement in 2016. Today a tour guide, sharing my love of the desert.

The house

We have a large house surround by a beautiful small garden. You will have your own room with a private bathroom and all meals and drinks included. During our tours we will provide a packed lunch or arrange a lunch stop en route. In the evenings, as our dinner guests, you will have an opportunity to gain more insights and understanding of life in the Negev, or just take time to relax after your interesting day out.
